Students Josh C. and Amanda P. enjoy Dominos Pizza and CinnaStix after struggling through the final

Just two more...I give my final two finals tomorrow, and will be officially done for the semester at 1:30. Grades still need to be posted, but that can wait until next week. Big props to student Bonny B. for ordering Domino's pizza and CinnaStix for my morning COSC 1301 final. Everybody was stoked to have free food after the grueling exam i gave. My night section of the Web Authoring class gave their project presentations tonight and all did really well. There's some real talent in that class...Darrell, Campbell, and I made our weekly visit to Rio Rita's tonight. Rather than going for my usual Chile Relleno or Dinner Veracruz, I had the Pollo Flautas. They weren't quite as good as the flautas student Maricela N. brought yesterday, but i really enjoyed them nevertheless. As always, Jennifer Smith (LU Mascot Big Red) and roommate (hers, not mine) Jenna took great care of us, and kept us entertained...I can't believe i missed the final episode of Friends---who could have ever predicted that Ross and Rachel would finally reunite?

Chicken Flautas for me on Cinco De Mayo...

Student/Petco groomer Carrie R. tries to persuade me to let her help decorate my new crib...

Chicken Flautas...Big props to student Maricela N. for cooking me up a plate of chicken flautas. She also made fresh salsa and promises that it will be unbelievably hot. I fasted all day in anticipation. Not to be outdone, student/pet groomer Carrie R. offered to help me decorate my house when i move in next week. I guess i could use someone to vacuum the place and put a fresh coat of paint on the wall in the living room...Dr. Lynch called and cleared up the confusion about last night's optional final. He also said it would have been pointless for me to have taken the test---I had a solid "A" in the class...I found the sequel to hyakugojyuuichi. It's not quite as good as the original, but it is still really clever...

No show...I, along with two of my fellow Governmental Accounting classmates (candace and josh) showed up this evening for the "optional" governmental accounting final. I was ready to solidify my position in the class, and gain some redemption after the previous test. Unfortunately, Dr. Lynch didn't make it, so no optional final...After the test, i met everyone down at Poblano. Server Jamie W. took good care of us...

Almost over...I highly recommend the new Denzel Washington flick "Man on Fire" (no, he doesn't actually get set on fire). It was full of action and suspense, and convinced me to stay away from Mexico for a while...Our annual LIT Picnic was held at Doornbos Park in Nederland on saturday. We had mexican food from Three Amigos, and were all given an LIT beach towel...Today is the last class day of the spring semester, with finals beginning tomorrow. Should have lots of "appreciation" gifts by the end of the week. Student Maricela N. promised to bring me a plate of chicken flautas on wednesday. I made her promise not to use canned chicken to make them...
