Done...It looks like i'm done with Governmental Accounting. The test went o.k., but for some reason i feel as though i could have done better. I do have the option of taking a "no fault" final (can only help, not hurt) but i probably won't need to...After the test, i met up with jackie, darrell, david and campbell down at Carrabba's. Our regular server, Melissa, was back and looked different after her surgery...This afternoon, i headed to Elena's for lunch. Exxon-Mobil engineer/cool chick Jamie M. joined me and was good company...

Unbelievable...After watching tonight's episode of "The Bachelor", I am more convinced than ever that Trish will make it to the final two, and that Jesse Palmer is a bonehead. Trish was a lot less cocky than she has been in previous episodes (she seemed like a broken woman) but her new found humility and remorse seems like an act to me. I know that past indiscretions like sleeping with married (and countless other) men "just happened" and shouldn't be a factor in the selection process, but who in their right mind would want that skank as a wife. She'd marry you, divorce you a week later, and take all of your money. And with JP's gig as a back-up Quarterback for the NY Giants in serious jeopardy after this past weekend's draft, a gold-digger is the last thing he needs. Trish does claim to be a different person now, so i guess you gotta give her the benefit of the doubt. As annoying as her voice, smile and laugh were, i was sad to see Karen (Miss Rhode Island 1998 (or '99---not sure)) get the boot---she seemed to have her act together. I still believe Tara is the most dope and ridiculous girl in the game, but she'll probably get cut next week...Tomorrow is my final test in Governmental Accounting, and although i haven't studied much for it yet, i'm thinking it will go really well...

Two years running...Tonight i attended and enjoyed the annual LIT Student Government Association Awards Banquet. It was a really good event, and the dinner (provided by Chartwell's Catering) was fantastic. HUGE props to all of the students who nominated me for the Outstanding Faculty Award...

Success...My big meeting with LU Nursing Department reps went well this afternoon, and they really seemed to like how the database and interface are turning out. Of course, they've thought of dozens of more things to add since the last meeting, so it looks like my work there won't be finished for a few more weeks (knowing the nurses, probably much longer)...We celebrated my Uncle Mike's birthday down at Poblano Grill tonight. Server Jennifer C. visited, and apologized for her strange, evasive behavior during our visit last week. Evidently, she really (really) dislikes (hates) some of the company i keep. I'm not sure whether she means Darrell or Campbell...Tonight at Wal-Mart Supercenter, i was really stoked to discover Herr's Heinz Ketchup flavored (!!!) potato chips on the chip isle. As you can imagine, they are unbelivably good...

Weekend...I killed most of my time this weekend by working on the database project for the LU Department of Nursing. All of the submission forms are fully functional, but i still have more to add. No matter what, the freaking thing will be in good shape by tomorrow afternoon's meeting with nursing department reps. Could be a long night though...This morning, i joined various relatives down at Calder Baptist Church for my cousin Edward's baptism. He made it through the dunking really well. Afterwards, we headed down to the Spindletop for lunch. My grilled chicken caesar salad was really good, and our server, April, kept me in constant supply of diet coke...
