Not sure...My test in governmental accounting was more challenging than Dr. Varick had led me to believe, but i still may come out with a decent grade. Actually, there were several questions that could have gone either way, so i'm not sure. After the test, i joined Darrell down at Rio Rita's. I had the always good Veracruz dinner. Jennifer Smith (LU Mascot "Big Red") and roommate Jenna took care of us really well, although my drink order was screwed up a bit---they gave me a mix of diet coke, sprite, dr. pepper and cherry flavoring (and cherries)---it was so good i had another...I'm looking forward to tonight's Texas Wildcatter's Hockey game vs. the Florence Pride---it should be great...

Distraction...I'm beginning to appreciate Galavision more and more. El Super Bla Blazo has it all---clowns, a wise-cracking puppet, and hot latino women. I don't usually understand what's going on, but i can tell that it's good TV. ..I've got a huge test in governmental accounting tomorrow night. Dr. Varick claims that this will be the easiest test ever, thus i'm not sure whether i should study or not.

Members of the jury panel leave Judge Burnet's office---dejected and unfulfilled...

Done...This morning i was picked for a jury panel right off the bat. The case was being held at JOP Brad Burnet's office---15 miles away. Unfortunately, it was settled after we all got there, thus i didn't get to send some deadbeat to the slammer. One of the other members of the panel was wearing a two pins---one said "PRO TORT REFORM" and the other said "NRA Life Member"... When i got back to the office, Darrell was hanging out with fellow Spurgerite Amanda Jenkins. Something strange seems to be going on between them. At lunch, they left together to go and purchase a trailer house in Orange....

Gusher tries, and fails, to hook me up with a Wildcatter's t-shirt

Civic Responsibility...I get to get up extra early tomorrow and head to the Jefferson County Courthouse for jury duty. I'm still trying to think up a way to present myself as unstable to the jury selection committee (thus not good jury material) without tarnishing my solid image in the community. One way or another, i am getting paid for my service---$6 a day...I thought the fourth quarter of the Super Bowl was very entertaining. The halftime show was god-awful...Actually, i was waiting for the whole thing to end so Survivor All-Stars could come on. I was glad to see Tina Wesson voted off first (something about her creeps me out). Richard Hatch is as hilarious as ever, but i'm rooting for Lex Van Den Berghe to win it all---that dude is cool...Darrell and i enjoyed last night's Texas Wildcatter's hockey game. The home team lost 4-2 to the Mississippi sea wolves, but it was good to see them score...
