Smelling Good...Huge props to student and Dillard's department store employee Leanne R. for hooking me up today with three new bottles of cologne---Lancome Miracle, Polo Blue and Ralph Lauren Romance. She skipped her final in COSC 1301 last semester and i allowed her to take it a week late---i guess you could say she owed me big time. Neverthless, i guess i can now safely toss my cans of Axe and Bod deodorant sprays...I joined Jackie and Darrell tonight down at Carrabbas. I had the usual---chicken bryan texas, fettucini alfredo, and caesar salad. Jackie's brother David stopped by with his new girlfriend Paula---they met at the unemployment office...

Getting Serious...Most of my weekend was squandered doing mostly useless things, thus i was fortunate to have an off-day today to get back to business. The day's big accomplishment was a huge powerpoint presentation for the Java Class (36 freaking slides---the students better be attentative and appreciative tomorrow)... The new CD by the band Rooney is fantastic---i've listened to it continuously all day... Tonight, i joined a few friends from the church down at Mazzios. My appetite remains good---i downed an entire thin-crust mini pizza and a salad. Props to julianne for keeping me in constant supply of diet dr. pepper...

Much better...Props to Life-Share blood center for the very slick new baseball cap given to me for donating blood up at the church tonight. I felt fortunate to get it--The nurse almost gave me the boot when i replied "yes" when they asked me if i had been incarcerated in the past 30 days. I was just checking to see if she was really listening. As it is, i feel great after losing the pint of blood---energized even. For nearly two weeks, i've been barely eating. Tonight however, i was easily able to finish off an entire regular sized turkey ranch and swiss sandwich at quiznos, and chips and drink on top of that. I definitely recommend blood donation to anyone feeling woozy or "under the weather"... Yesterday, albert and i went and got a new DVD/VCR combo and 27" TV (much better than a freaking 13") for the house. Of course, the first station we tuned in to was Telemundo for lucha libre action. Mexican wrestling rocks. They had two wrestlers i had never seen before: an obese guy in a chippendales outfit (loved by the ladies, of course) and a midget in a blue gorilla costume (looked kind of like an Ewok). As usual, it was non-stop action and hijinks...
