The Perfect Gift...I found the most amazing gift idea while shopping at Port Arthur Walmart Supercenter # 2 today---The S'mores Wizard !!! Unbelievable...Props to true friends Cupit, Albert, and Eric for e-mailing me birthday shout-outs. Co-worker Sharon bought me a cake (red velvet...mmmmhhh...i can't seem to get all of the red food coloring off my toungue, however...) and a book, and Debbie treated me to lunch at Elena's (I enjoyed my Enrique's special)...Former Student Candace D. joined me for lunch today at Logan's Roadhouse. She's been looking kind of frail lately (tapeworm infestation frail...) but she did eat nearly all of her shrimps, ate half of a yeast roll, and dumped lots of liquid butter on her potato. I guess i did what i could to help...

Ohhhh Yeah...I gave my final final today, and am now officially done for the semester... I had lots of students do really well this semester(A's and B's), but fortunately there were lots of slackers to keep my gradebook balanced... Props and shout outs to students theresa t. (for the chicken wings) and summer t. (for the mahaw preserves) and merissa for the coffee cup full of candy... Student Leann R. owes me big time for letting her take her final late (she showed up at my door late yesterday afternoon and begged and grovelled---she looked so sad, i couldn't say no). She works at Dillards, and promised to hook me up with a "complimentary" bottle of one of the trendiest new colognes. I can't remember the name of it, but she said it had lots of pheromones in it...Co-worker Sharon also made me some chex/trash mix, and it is fantastic...
