Home Stretch...Finals Week is moving along really well. I'm currently giving my ITSC 1305 section 02 a test they will not soon forget. After tonite, i only have two more exams to give...Props to student Melissa J. for getting me a Sausage, Egg and Cheese McGriddle yesterday after the exam. I was feeling woozy (having skipped breakfast), and that helped me make it through until lunch. Some others had promised to pick up some Krispy Kreme donuts, but failed to follow through (I'll be sure to remember that when posting grades tomorrow). In my night class, student Mike P. brought me a PN-G ball cap (I don't think i've ever owned one of those)...At lunch, Darrell and i checked out the new posh Pablano Grill on Dowlen near the mall. The food, atmosphere, and service were fantastic. The tortilla chips are thick, and in my opinion the best in town. Also, queso is complimetary and very good... I joined Darrell, Jackie, and Mr. Campbell at Carrabba's last night. Mr. Campbell told us about his trip to the proctologist...

Return...I went to my old high school tonight to watch my sister's choir from Van Buren Elementary put on a performance in the new cafeteria. The kids did really well. The new cafeteria is pretty swank... I begin giving finals tomorrow. I'm not expecting the gift barrage i experienced in the summer, but i'm certain/hopeful that a few students will still attempt to bribe me...Attention female readers: I would make no objection if you nominated me for the "Oprah Show's Most Romantic Man Contest." I have a feeling though that some wussy "nice guy" will win the contest---you know, the kind of guy that serenades you with his beautiful love songs, writes poetry, gives tons of compliments, sends flowers at least once a week, tells you he can't live without you, and calls no less than three times a day. I just know it's gonna happen...

Domination...Jon, Maureen, Albert and myself played tennis today, and i played extremely well. I won the single's tournement, defeating Jon in a grueling set. Albert won the "consolation" bracket after Maureen was forced to quit (I had thoroughly dominated her in the first round, thus she was too demoralized to put up much of a fight in later games)...Friday, I went with my aunt and uncle to Rio Rita's for mexican food. Former waitress Lara K. was there, but chose to ignore me. I wasn't surprised, however, because i had refused to buy shots from her the previous time i was there. I can't remember all the concoctions she was attempting to sell, but the one she wanted me to try looked like Pepto Bismol. I told her I was staying sober and to to get lost... While waiting to be seated on Friday, I did have a couple of girls giving me all of the typical female signs of interest---asking me lots of questions, hitting me, staring at me, etc.---unfortunately, they were no more than 13 years old. I think they told me they went to Lumberton Middle School...
