Gig 'Em...Jennifer and i are heading to college station tomorrow to see TAMU beat the hell outta Baylor. Actually, with the way both teams have been playing (Baylor=Good, A&M=Like Crap), the Ags could come up on the short end in this year's Battle of the Brazos. I'll be practicing the 12th man song tonight just in case we do go down---i learned it well during the 1996 season...

Rain out...We had an incredible amount of rain today. It still hasn't completely stopped. Conditions were so bad that i only had four people show up for my 5:15 ITSC 1305 class (one of them wasn't even my student, she just had nowhere better to go and decided to hang out in my class for a while). I stayed, but i didn't lecture. I felt they needed some busy work, and i needed some down time. I put the interloper to work as well...After class, Co-worker Darrell and I headed to Casa Ole' (he had only 2 students show up to his class, and one of the two showed up 30 minutes late) for some bueno mexican food. Former student/kountz resident Jessie R. was the hostess/cashier for the night, and she came and chatted with us for a while (if she were a little more ambitious/sharp, she would be the perfect girl---she's tall, friendly, kind, and doesn't smoke, drink or swear). She also convinced her friend/co-worker/fellow kountz resident, Brandy, to take my COSC 1301 class next semester.

Killing Time...My 5:00 p.m. COSC 1301 class is busy working on assignments, and unlike my other two COSC sections, this one is full of competent students who show up regulary, turn in their work, and rarely ask questions or need help. For the third wednesday in a row, i went to lunch with Clark, Arianna, and Suzanne. Today, we headed to local Mexican Cuisine favorite, Three Amigos. The food there is fantastic, and you really get a lot of it for the price. The cheese (contained in the cheese enchiladas) is extremely elastic/chewy/rubbery, and i fear it might take weeks to be fully digested... Sharon took me to Dairy queen this afternoon for a sugary treat. I was "broke", so i let her pay... I enjoyed last night's episode of Joe Schmo, especially when the Hutch was brought back into the Lap of Luxury House. He had been kicked out in last week's episode after threatening and verbally assaulting Kip (the gay guy). Due to a legal technicality, Hutch was allowed to return (they even glued his Lap of Luxury plate back together). As a result, two contestants, Molly and Kip, were voted out in this weeks show...

Blood Bath...While waiting for my new specs to be made yesterday (I went to Eye Masters solely for the fast 1-hour service, and they told me my glasses would be ready in 2 hours...) I checked out the movie "Cabin Fever". I have never seen such a bloody movie. It was amazing. It also had a kid that bites people...The new specs are great, and i also got a new pair of sunglasses...
