I feel bad...I feel really sorry for all of my peeps on the east coast---at last count, nearly 800k of them had lost power. I guess they'll be missing tonight's debut of Survivor. I'm going to watch, even though i've found the last couple of installments (thailand, amazon) kinda dull. There's always hope... My Big Brother 4 winner prediction is about to come to fruition. Allison is trashy, and she has lied continuously, but she's still sooo likeable. I don't see her losing in the jury vote...I saw a photo of co-worker Jackie on her trip to Tahiti. She was in a bikini---but was also wearing tennis shoes---and socks. I had always viewed her as being a woman of class and style, but now i'm not so sure...Sharon, Student Brian Schrader, and I headed down to mid-county at lunch to try out the food at the new local hotspot, Sanderson's. I just had a burger, but it was fantastic. The decor and atmosphere was really trendy as well...Student Sarah S. now owes me two tootsie roll pops (with the tootsie roll center). She went to the gas station to buy some (along with a pack of Kool's) but only found Blow Pops. She says the gum in the center of Blow Pops is yucky. Oh yeah A&M plays tonight---Beat the HELL outta Virginia Tech...whoop...

One-Year Celebration...Today is the first anniversary of jscottmoore.com, and is also my 10,500th day on the planet. I celebrated by giving my students excess work assignments, and a difficult quiz. Whatever you do, don't allow yourself to miss tonight's all-new episode of "The Joe Schmo Show" on Spike TV (formerly TNN). It begins at 9/8 c... Airing at the same time will be the finale on Cupid, where America will be voting on a husband for the desperate Lisa Shannon. She pleaded with voters last week to choose Hank among the final four contestants. I really feel however, that Robert (the austrian) would be a better long-term match, even if there is no detectable chemistry between them at this time.
