Catch-Up...Huge props to Albert and Mark for helping me get my canoe cleaned out and cleaned up. The USA Advanage Citrus Wonder Cleaner that Moneil Saunders sold me back in february really did a great job on the dust and grime accumulation. I haven't used it in nearly ten years, but it should be ready for friday's camping trip to village creek. Mark, albert, myself and maybe jon (although he's been flakey lately) are going for a weekend of adventure. We also got the tent out of storage. You may remember our last camping excursion was a true disaster. Albert , myself, and kyle (a.k.a. "the bus") were flooded out at the Renaissance festival. This time i sealed the tent with waterproof sealant, so we should be dry no matter what...After the clean up we headed down to Groves Dairy Queen. My Steak finger basket was fantastic...Rod in Charlotte wrote me with his opinion on the recent stabbing of Joey Greco on the hit syndicated T.V. show Cheaters. He writes--- "Hey man I saw the same episode of cheater where Joey gets stabbed. Is this show for real? I think it is all fake. I mean who would let a camera crew on the boat? Why did the film crew have handcuffs on hand? Who gave them the authority to take that little red neck "mitchell in? It seems all staged to me. What do you think?"---I think it is very real. Remember, the host, crew, and camera crew are all licensed investigators, thus they should have some legal authority to carry handcuffs, and make arrests. I think that Mitchell initially let them on the boat-he wanted the fame...
