The Executive Facilities at Clear Channel Radio Beaumont...

Radio... Local Celebrity and computer guru Ira Wilsker gave me the grand tour of Beaumont's Clear Channel Affiliate stations yesterday. It seems i may have the opportunity to fill in for him soon, an opportunity i can't pass up. I haven't done Radio since my sophomore year at TAMU, where Bob and i had a Friday afternoon slot at the college station. It was an FM Cable station (you actally needed a cable splitter to listen), so our audience was limited ---which was good because we played horrible music (Chris Cuevas, 4 Fun, Sweet FA, Debbie Gibson, Phranc, Memphis Minnie, etc.). Everybody at Clear Channel seemed cool, and i really liked the decor in the men's executive facilities...

May help reduce hairballs by conditioning and detangling coat, Fresh scent ...

Anti Hairball Beads... Leave it to my sister to purchase one of the most whacked products available on wal-mart shelves --- Hartz Groomer's Best Infusions Skin and Coat Shampoo for Cats and Kittens. The big selling point of the product was that it contained "Anti Hairball Beads", and sure enough, a person can see the beads in the shampoo solution. Furthermore, directions were written in both english and french
(aide a la prevenir la formation de boules). Granted, her new cat Precious II (Fluffy was the cat's given name, but lil' sis didn't find that sophisticated enough) was absolutely nappy when she got it, but i figured that a quick hose down or baptism would be all that was necessary to make the cat presentable.

The mysterious tambourine guy ...

Party Goers dance to the combined beat of the music and the tambourine guy...

Dallas Weekend... My trip to Dallas this weekend was very enjoyable. Elizabeth "Betsy" E. invited me up to big "D" to attend the event of the weekend for young dallas socialites ---a mock prom night. My tux jacket had been MIA for the past year or so, so i was forced to find a new one (no loss really, the sleeves were "hemmed" using staples and i used a black permanent marker to blend the staples in with the jacket). Mr. Formal, located in the trendy South Oak Cliff neighborhood hooked me up with a new jacket. After a delicious dinner at El Fenix, we met up with tad (the french teacher), stephanie, nick (the scientist and fellow A&M grad), and christa and headed downtown. We were nearly flattend by a bus when nick took a wrong turn onto a one-way street (i hate to say it, but he's just as bad as some of the women drivers i know). The Prom, held at Casey Goodman's spacious loft apartment, was really well done. We danced to music from the 70's, 80's and 90's, and chatted with new friends Jennifer P. (a really cool chick---until she started talking about her recent trip to sedona, and all of the "magical" crystals she bought there ---no new age wicca chicks for scott), Andy (the affluent pediatrician), and Rachel (who i bumped butts with a couple of times in heavy dancing action). All in all, it was a good experience, although the guy with the tambourine was a bit strange. I was also disappointed when "Ice Ice Baby" turned into "Under Pressure" by queen (Why did queen feel the need to make a cheap rip-off of a good song?)...After the dance was Cosmic Bowling at Jupiter Bowl ---it's very strange how dirty your clothes look under purple lights. Christa kicked our butts in bowling...Today it was church at FBC Dallas, and the Dallas Arboretum --- all good...
