Chillin' at Callaway

Athens, GA... I made it to Athens, and am having a great time visiting my brother in his basement apartment. He must be poor, because all his shelves are empty---not much stuff. He hasn't resorted yet to generic (non-branded) food, but that time can't be too far away...Callaway gardens is fantastic, as was the Athens On the Border Franchise. We're heading to charleston tomorrow, and pictures are coming soon. Albert---it looks like the border may be out of the question this weekend---take care of natalie for me...

oh yeah, Todd and Patrick came too, but they bolted after one session---punks...Props to Dr. Lynch for putting us up in the Westin Hotel...I love hotels where the showers have double shower heads---twice the water consumption, twice the warm pleasure...

Lauren, Myself and Jen enjoy the Beta Alpha Psi Conference

Beta Alpha Psi Southwest Regional Conference...
I just returned from a fantastic weekend in Houston at the BAPsi regional conference. The big message the various speakers kept harping on was the importance of ethics in accounting. On friday night, danielle, jen, myself, dr. lynch, felicias and raul headed to Eatzi's restaurant for a fantastic dinner. Zainab---the exotically beautiful pakistani girl---chose to hang with her islamic peeps instead of our group. I think it was a muslim holiday or something. Our lucheon on saturday at the conference was fantastic as we had grilled chicken with a wonderful cilantro sauce. Since i'm avoiding sugar and flour, I gave raul my roll, and some hot chick from McNeese St. (Brandy?) my dessert. By the final two sessions, most of our group had bailed ( even zainab flaked--- she apparently found more of her al quaida friends---), but i convinced Jen to stay until the end (after all, she is the the president of the club). Lauren, the lone representative from UTexas, came and sat with us at the final session. She was really cool, and her father raises Longhorn cattle in Eastland, Texas...
