Getting Interesting... I signed up for a couple of classes across the street at Lamar, and i think that both will be great. The first is Investments with Dr. Brust. He's ancient (late 80's?), but seems capable. Raul (yep, the former BAPsi president) is in the class, so i'll have someone to chat with. Also, there's a blonde hottie sitting next to us who seems to be friendly. She asked if Christine (who's Christine??) was my step-mom. I told her no, and asked her where she got such a strange idea. She said Christine told her that her stepson was in the Business building alot, and that he wore glasses. I fit the profile. Strangely enough, Subway chick may also be in the class---or at least a girl who looks very similar. This girl didn't look quite as good, or dress quite as nice, but then again it was an 8 am class, so maybe she woke up late and didn't have time to fix up....

now it's class time

Enthusiasm... I don't know how to explain it, but I can already tell that my 9:05 Microcomputer class will be one of the best i've had since coming to LIT. They are shimmering with enthusiasm, and i sense very good rapport. I hope the 11:15 class is just as good...We'll see in 12 minutes...

Subway Chick taken down a notch... Subway chick was back today. She seems to always show up just about the time i arrive (stalker perhaps?). She came in behind me just as i was getting into line, and ordered a Bar-B-Que Sub. The Sandwich artist asked her if she wanted Chicken or Beef, and when Subway Chick asked her what was her favorite, the S.A. said "Chicken, you'll love the Chicken". Subway Chick ignored the recommendation and said she wanted beef. Unbelievable. That, to me, is one of the rudest and most spiteful things someone can do. I am no psychologist or psychotherapist, but evidently, Subway Chick is what the profession refers to as a "Polarity Responder". A Polarity Responder will always do opposite of what they are told or asked to do. She's obviously not as cool as i once thought (and has a bad accent as well). I think i'll tell her to quit stalking me...

Technically Done... Although the Winter Mini-Session doesn't end officially until tomorrow, it looks like i am done. I gave my students the option to take the final today, and sure enough all of them took me up on the offer. Now, all i need to do is post grades. Props to my brother mark for having a birthday today. He's 33, but looks much younger. We're taking him to Cheddar's tonight.
