OK, who took my textbook?...I have looked nearly everywhere, and now i have a big decision to make. We are starting a new unit on Monday in ITSC 1305, and i seem to have misplaced my textbook. I had it last night, but somehow between the classroom and my office, it disappeared. The only option now seems to be for me to run by the bookstore and pick up a new copy. Why? Why?... Everything else is going OK. I am going to the bowling party tonight (Crossroads Bowling center near the mall - 9pm), but I'm thinking about using the afternoon for practice. I haven't bowled in years, and if i don't break 100, i'll look like a wussy. I hope to also get some new threads and shoes this afternoon. When you look good, you feel more confident, and that confidence should lead to a better overall performance. That better performance will keep me from looking like a wussy.

BAPsi Meeting...ExxonMobil representitives came to talk to us at our b-weekly Beta Alpha Psi/Accounting society Meeting last night and showed us a fantastic video. The company does great things for the environment. Everybody works together as a team, and opportunities abound for those who are willing to move where the opportunities are. Most of the opportunities these days are in nigeria and the cote de ivorie, but they also have a new state of the art plant in singapore. The beaumont plant is the 5th largest in the nation...I'm thinking about going bowling with the group on friday, but first i need to make sure that enough of my own peeps are going, not just the BAPsi establishment...None of my green or libertarian party candidates prevailed. I'm very disappointed with my latest voting experience. My sister showed me a flyer that was put on her car window yesterday at a local school in th port arthur hood. I said "Vote # 2 and you're thru." Classic.

Early Voting...As a patriotic citizen of this country, i felt obliged to go and vote this past weekend. Fortunately, there was a voting booth located at Bruce's supermarket, so voting was convenient. Although i don't claim to know much about the issues, i am good with name recognition, and with all of the ads on radio and television lately, i could remember a few candidates that were good, country-loving citizens. I also remembered those that laundered money to drug cartels, leading to the deaths of numerous federal agents. For governor, i figured that the libertarian was probably a decent person since i hadn't heard otherwise, so that was my choice. Actually, i remembered that our current governor had worked with HMO's to raise insurance rates, while his democratic opponent was guilty of the drug cartel aid mentioned above. No vote for those guys. After choosing the governor, i proceeded to punch the least familiar name on the ballot for each office. If i had heard of the person, they were out. As far as the political parties go, i figure they're the same for the most part, but i like the greens because the want to keep the environment clean, and i like the libertarians because they believe in freedom....Nevertheless, i feel glad to have done my part as a citizen of this great land...
